Ben Shirken - Divagation w/ Pavel Milyakov & MIZU
The video’s visual language emerged from a focus on the minutiae of interplay between bodies. We utilized machine learning software to generate additional frames, seamlessly blending super16mm film footage with ultra-slow motion to produce an uncanny quality of movement.
The video features members of Pageant, the recently New York Times-acclaimed, Brooklyn-based performance space. Music composed by Ben Shirken, Pavel Milyakov (Buttechno), and MIZU.
